Although raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Queen's roots were firmly planted in the South. Her lifelong love of art began at a young age. Influenced by the majestic beauty of western landscapes, wildlife, and ranch/farm living - her work showcases these symbols of the American West. Cowboys/Cowgirls, horses and cattle are constant sources of inspiration for Queen.
She has honed her skills in acrylic and oil painting through years of training. Queen aims to capture the essence of her subjects in each piece, inviting viewers to delve into fleeting moments of peace and serenity.
Western Art/Horses
Queen is fascinated with the western lifestyle and the people who live in it. A big part of that lifestyle includes their work with horses and other animals along with their connection to the land. These pieces feature cowboys/cowgirls, beautiful backdrops and highlight the beauty of horses and other farm animals.
Pet Portraits and Wildlife
Pet and wildlife portraits are another passion of hers. There is something special about capturing the character of each beloved pet for their adoring owner to cherish or the idyllic beauty of wildlife creatures. Queen lovingly paints these portraits and is truly honored when her clients choose her. Her style is realistic but she prefers to keep the charming painterly look to each portrait. Acrylics and oils are Queen's mediums of choice.
