I'm an artist living in my hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. Although I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, I have called Las Vegas home since the age of 8.
Art has always been my passion but I was encouraged to pursue another career path growing up. While art remained my first love, I ultimately obtained degrees in engineering, business administration and finance.
After turning to art therapy in 2017 to overcome a loss, I rediscovered my passion for painting. Then committed myself to my childhood dream - becoming an artist.
I've exhibited artwork January 2018 until June 2019 in AW Gallery in The Arts Factory (in downtown Las Vegas). My artwork has been exhibited in the New Orleans Art Association 2018 Art show in New Orleans, Louisiana and the 2018 Sugar Rush Art Festival in Sugarhill, Georgia.
I'm also a proud member of the Las Vegas and Boulder City Artist Guilds. I enjoy participating in art competitions and expos hosted by both guilds and other organizations across the US (and abroad).
In July 2019, I opened Queen of Arts Studio and Gallery!! It houses my working studio and gallery showroom of all of my available artwork.
Pet Portraits
Pet and wildlife portraits are my passion! There is something special about capturing the character of each beloved pet for their adoring owner to cherish or the majestic beauty of wildlife creatures. I lovingly paint these portraits and am truly honored when my clients choose me. My style is realistic but I prefer to keep the charming painterly look to each portrait. Acrylics and oils are my mediums of choice.
In early 2008, I was sitting in the courtyard at work when Fate whispered in my ear “That’s him.” I looked up to see an adorable face with mischievous blue eyes staring at me. Those twinkling eyes belonged to Jeff Gardner. His smile was infectious and he exuded
happiness. I ignored Fate’s whisper and tried to resist HIS adorableness. I was the Queen of “I don’t date coworkers.” Over the next seven years or so, we developed a genuine friendship. I finally just gave in. Jeff will tell anyone who cares to listen that he’s so thin because he chased me for seven years and that burns A LOT OF calories! We were married in October 24th 2015. I could’ve sworn I heard Fate whisper again, smugly this time “I told you so..."
We all have emotional baggage. Jeff and I were no exception. We both agree that had we not experienced the hardships of past relationships, we would not have appreciated what we have now.
We don’t take any moment for granted and our world centers around our love. I tell Jeff that he is my muse and it’s truer than he realizes. Happiness and contentment fuels my creative spirit. He is my best friend, biggest support and love for life. If I could bottle our love and sell it, I would. On second thought, I would just give it away for free. Since I can’t do that, I pour my happiness and love into my paintings. My hope is that when it finds a home, happiness will surround the space where it hangs. A beacon of joy for its owner. I know that I’m blessed and I’m forever grateful to everyone who
supports me as an artist. Because of my Team Queen supporters, I’m able to do what I love doing - paint! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart xoxo
